The situation
Two ash trees on site were suffering from advanced ash dieback, leading to significant decline in structural integrity. Deadwood, brittle limbs, and canopy loss had increased the risk of failure, making the trees unsafe to retain.
The work carried out
We carried out a controlled sectional dismantle of both trees, using climbing and rigging techniques to safely remove each section. Due to the brittle nature of diseased ash, extra care was taken throughout to manage breakage and ensure full control during removal. The stems were then taken down in stages to ground level.
The outcome
Both trees have been safely removed, eliminating the risk posed by ash dieback. The area is now secure and ready for future use or replanting. All waste was cleared from site, leaving the space clean and tidy.
