The situation
The customer in Gaulby had a tall, dense row of conifers running along the boundary and driveway. The trees had grown unchecked for years, forming a thick screen of trunks and overhanging canopy that was overshadowing the garden, restricting light, and encroaching on the driveway and gateway.
The work carried out
Our team fully removed the conifer hedge, working trunk by trunk in sections to keep the surrounding fencing, gate, and driveway protected throughout. All brash and canopy material was cleared and chipped as the work progressed, and the trunks were cut down to ground level.
The outcome
The boundary and driveway area were left clear, open, and free of debris, with significantly more light reaching the garden. The customer now has the option to landscape or replant the cleared strip as they wish.
